Course content:

This training session has been designed for key data handlers to understand their data protection responsibilities and to provide skills which engrain best practice whilst reducing risk on the schools path to GDPR compliance. The course includes:

• Understanding the difference between personal & sensitive personal data
• Dealing with Data Processors (DP’s) contracted to the school
• Understanding encryption and its practical uses
• Sharing data securely and legitimately.
• Identifying and mitigating risks when handling personal data
• Completing a subject access request (SAR)
• Reporting a breach to the ICO

Each delegate receives a copy of the data handling resource kit (GDPR) and a certificate for their own CPD records and the school record of compliance.
